Shari Ellsworth


Theatre Appreciation: Adjunct Faculty

Shari Ellsworth has been an SFA faculty member since 1999. She has a B.A. from Hofstra University and an M.A. from SFA. Currently she is completing her Ph.D. as well as teaching Theatre Appreciation and Acting at Texas Tech University. She is a member of TETA and has been an active One-Act Play Adjudicator for over 7 years. She co-authored Are We Really Working Ourselves to Death? which was published in Theatre Design and Technology Magazine, Spring 2007. She has had a great deal of experience both on and off the stage, acting and directing. Last year, Ellsworth wrote a play that was presented at a National Women’s Conference hosted at Texas Tech.
