Costume Designer and teacher of design, costume history, makeup design, and costume technology, along with principles of design for all areas, portfolio preparation and stage management. Angela supervises all costume and makeup designs for the School of theatre productions. She has designed and taught at the University of North Carolina–Asheville, James Madison University and the College of Charleston. Her designs have also been seen at Mount Holyoke College, Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre, Blowing Rock Stage Company, Playhouse on the Square in Memphis, East Texas Opera, Pioneer Valley Summer Theatre in Massachusetts, and the Asheville Lyric Opera. As a cutter draper she has worked on productions at the Alley Theatre in Houston, the Texas Shakespeare Festival, The Mac-Hayden Musical Theatre, Theatre in the Square in Atlanta and the Georgia Shakespeare. She also has worked extensively with Dance companies in Virgina, North Carolina, Tennessee and Texas as a lighting designer.
